This wool/silk combination makes the most delicately smooth fabric. We just love it. A great all year round garment: cool in summer, warm in winter. These are simply the best thermal layers out there, especially for babies with extra sensitive skin. Our first child had eczema on the chest and it was difficult to find clothing that didn't irritate the skin. Cotton would get wet with dribble and exacerbate the rash, this wool/silk blend fabric keeps the skin clean, non-sweaty and soothed and is perfect for all year round use.
